Service to the society is the guiding canon for Philyra Training and Consultancy. It aims to evoke and support the evolution of individuals, both in their personal and professional spheres, thus enabling them to scale the pinnacle of success. Philyra will achieve this goal by imparting appropriate knowledge and skills to the individual through training modules, using creative writing as their primary methodology of instruction. Salient features of the training programme/internship:

  1. Polished personality: The candidate shall be perfectly moulded to serve a fresher role in the corporate sector
  2. Advance communication skills: Intensive and extensive work shall be done for the advancement of the candidates communication skills
  3. Administrative/managerial roles: Email drafting, facilitating meetings, coordinating discussions, social media management
  4. Creating workshops for training: How to gather material for trainings, presentation skill, working on potential and performance of individuals
  5. Commercial application of creative writing: Using creative writing as a methodology of instruction, content writing, blogging, SOP writing, LOR writing

 

Eligibility

  1. Students pursuing final year under-graduate (Bachelors course) and students pursuing post-graduate (Masters Course) courses.
  2. Open to students from all educational backgrounds.
  3. Must be residing in the Chandigarh tri-city area.
  4. Interns must be available for personal interaction once a week.
  5. Must be available for a duration of 3 months. (October, November, December)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Selection Process

  1. Interested candidates should apply by filling an application form, with a valid photo ID proof.
  2. Internship applications will be reviewed and resumes of candidates shortlisted on the basis of the application form, shall be invited.
  3. Shortlisted applicants will then be interviewed by the head of the organisation.
  4. Selected candidates will be intimated.

 

Number of positions available: 2

Duration of internship

  1. Philyra training programme will begin – in October
  2. This programme is for a period of 3 months.
  3. Persons interested in working with Philyra thereafter would be given an opportunity to extend, after their training period.

 

Stipend

The three month internship training programme is unpaid.

If the candidate qualifies for the permanent position after the completion of the training programme, then stipend will be considered.

Certificate

  1. Certificates will be issued to interns, on satisfactory completion of their internship assignment and submission of their outputs.
  2. Based on the output you will be issued a letter of recommendation by the head of the organisation.

 

Modalities

  1. Interns are required to give an undertaking regarding work ethics and conduct, prior to joining the internship programme.
  2. The interns will be issued a daily tasks for the duration of Internship.
  3. It is a remote training programme.
  4. Interns should be available for personal interaction once a week.
  5. Interns will be taken through a brief overview within a week of joining the internship.
  6. Each intern will be assigned a Guide.
  7. Interns will be provided with required logistic support based on their assignment.

 

Submission of Papers/Reports

  1. The interns will be required to submit a report on the task accomplished at the end of the each working day.
  2. Interns will also be required to give feedback on their internship experience.
